Love getting to the office first. Not quite sure why. Just feels like a good start. But being first does not automatically equal being the best. No need to rush those college apps out just because they went live on Monday. Steady work creates excellence. Compulsively rushed college app completion often results in regret after the submit button is pressed. Relax. Consider. Review. Let it sit. Review again. Then submit when it advantages you the most. (Depends on the college.) Looking forward to lots of fun meetings today!
AP scores are now available. For context go to @rootcollegeadvising stories and/or jump on twitter @totalreg *Students—please do NOT officially send your AP score(s) as part of the application process. It is a waste of money. Self report unless college requires otherwise. And only report if you think the score reflects your abilities 🙃. Your score. Your process. 💯.
@uscadmission has added Early Action as an application option. Please see their website for more details.

We are collecting donations to support those impacted by the Gaylord tornado 🌪. Please leave your items in our hallway or lobby by Wednesday evening and they will be dropped off in Gaylord Friday evening. Please see the Otsego County United Way website and FB Page for updates on needed items and ways to help. I know Michiganders and I know teens and I just bet there will be some kiddos who organize a local collection to send or drop off “up north” soon. Thank you! #gaylordmichigan #tornadorelief #donate
